Dr Colin Wong completed his general paediatric training in 2017 being appointed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and then becoming the consultant responsible for the Paediatric Emergency Department at Warrington Hospital.

He is a postgraduate doctor with a background in law, accountancy and the Army Reserve. 

Colin is the Clinical Sub-Dean for the University of Liverpool, the Clinical Simulation Lead for the Trust and for the last year has worked as a Clinical Strategy Lead. 

His interests are Patient Safety, Medical Education and Child Health with education of carers and families as well as colleagues in managing children with medical conditions. He leads on a number of regional child health Quality Improvement Projects trying to initiate equality of care across the Northwest region.

When not working, Colin enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, climbing mountains, chasing rivers, walking, biking, and skiing. Colin also has a passion for Twitter.
