Halton Education Centre is located near Entrance 2 of Halton General Hospital, with ample parking and various training/ meeting facilities. For more information about the Hospital site please visit the Trust’s website at:

The Centre has a Reception and large Foyer which leads to the ground floor rooms (Lecture Theatre/ Annexe/ Seminar Room/ Conference Room/ ICT1/ Tutors Room) with a lift and stairs to the 1st floor rooms (ICT2/ Meeting Room/ Clinical Skills Room).
Male, Female and Disabled Toilets are located in the Main Foyer.
There is a pay phone and a free taxi phone in the main hospital (near the car park machine by entrance two); there is a telephone for internal calls in the Education Centre Library.
The following equipment is available for use within the Centre:
- Computers are available in every room. Some rooms also have a projector available.
- If you’re using a USB pen-drive to access your Presentation please ensure this is compatible with our computers; safe sticks are required for our employees in accordance with Trust policy.
- Flipcharts and pens are available in all rooms.
- AV Accessories are available(e.g. pointers/ remote control units), but please return to Reception before leaving the centre.
When booking, we can advise you of the various menu options available (but please note we do not allow event organisers to bring their own food or drinks on site).
Buffets are permitted in all rooms with the exception of the Lecture Theatre, but please note that with hot meals or large orders, a suitable dining area must be requested at the initial booking stage to ensure availability.
We require two weeks notice for orders as we do not keep a large stock of food on site.
Tea, Coffee and other Hot Drinks are available in the centre. Please ask at reception. Hot drinks are charged at £1 and all transactions are cash only.
