It is really important that you let us know of any changes as soon as possible. This means we can offer the original appointment to another patient.

The 26th April 2023 marks the second annual National Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Day and we want to thank and celebrate the incredible contribution that our amazing Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) make to the care of cancer patients here at WHH.
The National Cancer Experience Survey (NCPES) tells us that the Clinical Nurse Specialist is the single most important contributory factor to a patient’s positive experience of care, playing a crucial role in providing information, enabling communication and in coordinating care.
This year we would like to introduce you to some of our fabulous Cancer CNSs and give a flavour of what they enjoy about being a CNS and what led them into this role. It showcases the diversity and passion amongst our cancer workforce and that there is no one route into these exceptional roles.
