It is really important that you let us know of any changes as soon as possible. This means we can offer the original appointment to another patient.

Our services

The Genito Urinary Medicine (GUM) department at Halton General Hospital provides a free, confidential service for anyone with worries about sexual health.

We can provide a range of tests and give advice and treatment on any aspect of sexual health.

Our staff are highly trained and professional and our service is completely confidential.

Our facilities

The GUM clinic is located in the blocks at the rear of the hospital site.

Walking out of Entrance 1 (main entrance) you turn right and follow the path round the side of the hospital and it is the first building you reach away from the main building behind the car park.

HIV post-exposure prophylaxis treatment is available at this service.

You do not have to be referred to the clinic by a GP, you can make an appointment on your own accord please call 01928 753217.
