As announced by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on 31st January 2022, the Government has paused the implementation of the regulations making COVID-19 vaccination a condition of deployment for health and social care staff, subject to further public consultation and parliamentary process.

As a trust, we are proud that we have had one of the highest acute NHS Trust COVID-19 vaccination rates in the country, with staff voluntarily coming forwards to protect themselves, their colleagues, their loved ones and our patients. We continue to offer 1st, 2nd and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to our staff, patients and wider community to access should they wish to do so.
