The ICON Leaflet is available to download and print for use in your setting. The leaflet can be translated on request by Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It can also be provided in large print, braille or audio.
ICON leaflet for HaltonThe Coping with Crying Plan template can be given to parents and carers to enable them to plan their comfort methods, who they can call for help and how they can relax when feeling stressed. This has been made to be editable on computers, tablets and mobiles. It could also be printed to provide parents and carers with a hard copy.
The ‘Abusive Head Trauma Grab Guide’ has been approved by NHS England at a national level. The Grab Guide endorses the work of ICON, which is led nationally by the Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership. It will be distributed amongst health services and will help to support the continued national spread of the ICON Programme.
