Trainee nurse associates
Last updated: Tuesday 17 September 2024Nursing associates work with the registered nurse to deliver patient-centred care.
Training includes essential skills such as medicine administration, ECGs, catheterisation and wound management.
This is a two-year apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with the University of Chester.
Once complete, the trainee nursing associate becomes a qualified nursing associate registered through the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
