Information for young people - Warrington School Health

Confidentiality and consent

We encourage young people to talk to their parents or carers about any health issues that are worrying them.

School nurses offer a confidential service, but sometimes information may need to be shared to keep you safe. If this happens, it will always be explained to you.

Feelings and mental health

Different places for information and support about your feelings and mental health:

Youth In Mind at Warrington Youth Zone is somewhere that you can go to talk about your feelings and get help if you are feeling worried or sad.

Friendly grown-ups are there to listen and support you, so you don’t have to deal with problems on your own. It’s a safe space to share how you feel and learn ways to look after your mental health.
