Maternity Services

General introduction

We are here to support you through your maternity journey offering a flexible service to meet your individual needs.

We will support you to make informed choices around where to birth your baby, and are able to support births either in the home or in our Maternity Unit at Warrington Hospital. All facilities provide a spacious, clean bright environment for women, their babies and families.

We work as a close multi-professional team to ensure that you receive the care that you need with the right professionals supporting your journey. Whether you have a straightforward pregnancy or more complex needs we will work with you to provide safe, personalised and effective care.

Our Maternity Unit supports an average of eight women each day to birth their babies, whether your choice is to deliver at home in our Birth Suite (Labour Ward) or our modern Midwifery-Led Unit (MLU) – The Nest.

We will welcome you to register for our service at any stage of your pregnancy, even if you have previously arranged to have your baby elsewhere.
