Dr James Wallace joined the trust in 2016 as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, having completed his Higher Specialty Training in the Mersey Deanery, following Foundation Year training and medical school in the North East. He has been the Trust Resuscitation Lead since 2016, working with the Resuscitation and Training team to deliver the widest range of Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support courses in the Cheshire and Mersey area. He became the Associate Clinical Director for Urgent and Emergency Care in December 2018 and is now the Clinical Director for UEC. He has undertaken several research projects since joining the trust, with international publications around Resuscitation and Frailty in the Emergency Department. His vision for 2022 includes developing a sustainable workforce and quality improvement through innovation and clinical research.
