Our service is able to provide one to one specialist treatment for those with mild to highly complex issues such as spasticity.
As well as providing specialist neurological rehabilitation, our Outpatient Neurology Physiotherapy Department provice a flexible service and is able to support other clinicians across different service providers to achieve their patient’s maximum potential. The caseload is 45% Multiple Sclerosis and 30% is CVA. Our Outpatient Neurology Physiotherapy Department works closely with other agencies such as Healthy Lifestyles ensuring those with long term conditions are as fit as they possibly can be, to promote independent management of their symptoms.
Once known to the service, patients are supported through their long term Neurological Condition through access to the Review List. This allows patients to Self-Refer back when required.
The Outpatient Neurology Physiotherapy Department provide the following services:
- Specialist neurology rehabilitation
- Assessment for Dynamic Lycra Movement Orthotics
- Post Botox rehabilitation
- Supported discharge from inpatient teams

To refer a patient to the Outpatient Neurology Physiotherapy Department please complete a referral form which can be accessed by clicking here or send the most recent clinic letter with the reason for referral.
Patients being referred into the service must have a diagnosis of neurological condition and be able to tolerate attending an outpatient clinic.
If previously known to the service patients can self-refer.
